Booking and Reservations
- All bookings require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total trip cost to secure permits, guides, and accommodations.
- The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 30 days prior to the departure date of the trek or tour.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations made 60 days or more before departure will receive a full refund minus any non-recoverable permit fees and bank transaction charges.
- Cancellations made between 30 and 59 days prior to departure forfeit the 25% deposit.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to departure, or no-shows, are strictly non-refundable.
Travel Insurance Requirement
- Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants booking high-altitude treks or adventure expeditions with Heritage Trail Nepal.
- Your policy must explicitly cover high-altitude trekking, emergency helicopter rescue, medical evacuation, and repatriation.
Health, Safety, and Risk Assumption
- Participants must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions at the time of booking.
- Mountain weather and trail conditions can be unpredictable; our certified guides reserve the right to modify itineraries at any time to ensure traveler safety.
Environmental and Cultural Code of Conduct
- Heritage Trail Nepal operates on a strict Leave No Trace policy across all natural trails and conservation areas.
- Travelers are expected to respect local traditions, sacred spaces, and indigenous communities throughout the journey.
